SWEET PRESSED COOKIE STAMP – A GREAT X-MAS GIFT IDEA

Hi Everyone! Today’s post is about our new Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamp. I know this is going to be a gift for members of my family this Christmas! How much fun can you have making cookies with your children or grandchildren using the included recipes or your own, or even making some cute and quick cookies from store-bought cookie dough even! There have been so many great suggestions on how to use this cookie press. Some find it easier to use their favorite cookie recipe and then just stamp the cookie just as you take it out of the oven while still hot for a great impression too – so clever! You may have some questions about how to use and care for your Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamp so I’ve added some information below – but just think how cute it would look tucked inside a cellophane bag nestled with some colorful tissue paper and tied up with a bow with an adorable tag as a beautiful Christmas gift to be enjoyed all year long? PLUS – make your order be $25.00 and you will be entered in my special raffle to win a MY DIGITAL STUDIO SOFTWARE PROGRAM to be drawn on November 12th! For every $25.00 order, your name will be entered in this raffle – spend $50.00 and your name goes in twice – twice as nice!

Q: Do you have to refrigerate the dough?

A: Many recipes recommend refrigeration of the dough, however, who has time? I don’t and my cookies have turned out great.

Q: How do you keep the dough from sticking in the stamps?

A: I make the dough and roll it into 1 1/2″ balls, then dip the cookie stamp in a bowl of granulated sugar before pressing it into the dough. The sugar keeps the stamp from sticking to the dough and if you get more sugar on a cookie, is that a bad thing?

Q: How do you clean your cookie stamps?

A: Use a little soapy water and my hands on the stamps and a damp cloth to wipe off the handle. You can put the stamps in the dishwasher. Do not put the wood handle in the dishwasher.

Q: Can you use any recipe?

A: I have tried three, two with a leavening agent (baking soda or baking powder) and one without and I have had great results with all three.

Q: Are they easy to use?

A: Yes they are and if my grandchildren can do it, anyone can.

Q: Where can I buy the Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps?

A: From me!!! You can order them HERE or if you are local to me, I am ordering again soon and you can get your own set for $19.67 delivered to your door. Email or call me to place your order.

Q: How do you get a clean edge around the cookie?

A: Roll your dough into a 1 1/2″ ball and press the stamp into it. Then use a biscuit cutter to create the smooth edge.

There are all kinds of cookie recipes out there so get your Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps and start baking!! Kids and husbands find the large handle super easy to use. Since it is the start of the holiday season, what better gift for friends, family and neighbors than homemake coookies. 🙂

Here is a Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe:
Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes

1/2 Crisco Stick – Butter Flavored
2/3 C Peanut Butter – I use Jif Creamy
1/2 C Granulated Sugar
1/2 C Brown Sugar

1 1/4 C Flour
1/2 t Baking Powder
3/4 t Baking Soda
1/4 t Salt

Cream wet ingredients together. In separate bowl mix dry ingredients. Add dry to wet and combine. I use a large cookie scoop and then press my cookie stamp into the ball. ENJOY!
