Recipe Books for All!

October, November, and December are the busiest months in the kitchen at my house. So, when I was asked to create a recipe book cover and spread for our new board books, I was excited to see what I could come up with! First, I decided to see if there were any quotes I could use. I found a quotation by Paula Deen that I thought was perfect to go on the cover of a recipe book: “Cooking has always brought me a happiness that I didn’t think was available. I just fire up the stove and things start to fade away.”

Once I was done designing, I was in love with it. (I’m planning to have it in my kitchen in the very near future.) I was excited to learn that we also decided to make it into a designer template!

I can’t wait to download this Compilation of Recipes Designer Template for myself! Finally, I have an opportunity to do something with the stack of loose recipes I have been collecting over the years (not to mention all the recipes sitting in my e-mail). Christmas presents for my sisters, sisters-in-law, mother, and mother-in-law . . . check, check, check, and check!
