APRIL CLASS PROJECTS!

Hi Everyone!  I had a BLAST with everyone at our April class, and thought I would share our projects with you.  My thanks go out to Cindee W. for inspiring me on the envelope portfolio project – thanks Cindee!  Ok – here is our first card – a Mother’s Day card:

I used crumb cake cardstock, pretty in pink DSP, a butterfly from the Beautiful Butterflies die (#114507) for the base butterfly and topped it with a butterfly from Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die (#118138) lightly sponged with pretty in pink ink to show off the design.  What is the background piece that sort-of looks like the top note die?  It’s one of the frames from the Peakaboo Frames Bigz L Die and I just covered the “door” with a piece of white card stock using the corner rounder punch and then used our  cute oval frame from the Designer Frames embossing folder (#123130) and placed the butterfly pieces on top using a brad from the Antique Brads (#117273).   This also served as a beautiful sympathy card that I needed for a friend who lost her mother recently, and I just switched out the “Mom” for a “With Sympathy”.

Moving on, our next project was a cute purse using the new Petite Purse Bigz L Die (#125606) – too cute – and we filled it with 5 pieces of chocolate!

The last project was using our NOTE cards (#107311) for only $5.95 for a set of TWENTY (20)!  What a great deal – and that includes the envelopes too!  The folder is made using two regular-sized A2 envelopes with the flap tucked into the other and it looked like this (if you want a tutorial – leave a comment and if there is enough interest, I will do one):

Here are the note cards we created to go inside with matching envelopes :

Well, that’s it for our projects we did at the April class.  I’ll be sharing the cards later this week that we did for the FREE class for everyone who purchased from me during Sale-A-Bration!  Every year as a thank you to everyone who placed an order with me during Sale-A-Bration, I hold a free card class after as my way to thank you for your support – another reason to buy from me during Sale-A-Bration next year if you missed out this year!

Stampin’ Hugs!
