Hi everyone!  Here is the November insert we made for our Framed Art class.  November celebrates Mickey Mouse Day, Teddy Bear Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and the season of fall!  I used some old, some new, and a nice mix of punch art to create this frame.  Here is the 8 x 10 insert:

This cute little punch art Tom Turkey was actually taken from a Stampin’ Success magazine for demonstrators several years ago and then one of my downline, Karen, used him for our swap – he is too CUTE!

Loved this little acorn punched art square along with the Mickey Mouse one:

I was able to use our new stamp set “Perfectly Preserved” which was perfect for this month’s theme.  After I colored it, I went over it with Versamark and then clear embossed it to make it stand out.  For the falling leaves square, I used our wonderful crayons to color the leaves, then blended it with a blender pen, then sponged some green and red in between the leaves for color :

For the Veterans Day square, I was so happy to have an older stamp set that I have never used and stamped in black craft ink, then clear embossed, and then just added some red for the stripes and blue for the stars with our markers to add a touch of color and make it pop.  I love being able to use some old and some new and blend them together for these inserts.

And lastly, let’s not forget this square to remember how grateful we are ALWAYS, and that truly, “Gratitude CAN transform common days in THANKSGIVINGS”!  Fabulous Jen Thornton tweaked her square to include the double cut-out leaves (I only had one acorn, sad – yes?)  and I LOVED HERS so much that I cased it for mine – thanks Jen for always giving me a different perspective – I love that!
