HAPPY NEW YEAR!  Here is the January Framed Art insert.  Hard to believe this is the 12th one in this year-long series of classes!  As the spirit moves me, I may be doing some monthly inserts just for myself and to share with everyone, but for now I will now be doing themed inserts every quarter and doing classes with them, the next one being a baby insert, so watch for that!  Here is January’s insert.  In January, we celebrate New Year’s Day, Skate Day, Rubber Duckie Day, Polar Bear Day, Hot Tea/Hot Chocolate Day, and Blue Jean’s Day!  AND, Stampin’ Up! has not failed me in providing me with the perfect stamp sets and accessories to showcase these days.  During Sale-A-Bration, there is a Blue Jean stamp set that you can get for FREE that was perfect to use for Blue Jeans Day.  I also have fallen in love with the Soda Pop Tops and used that for the base for my snowflake square – a 1″ circle fits the inside perfectly!  I have some ideas for those that you are going to love and will be sharing those later.

Here is a close-up of the New Year’s Eve Square.  I made my own glimmer paper by using Night of Navy, inking it up with Versamark, sprinkling Heat & Stick powder and heat setting that, then sprinkling some Iridescent Ice and heat setting that thereby creating my own custom colored glimmer paper for the third color balloon for this square so that everything coordinates!  This is a single stamp that was recently introduced.

Next is the snowflake square using the NEW Soda Pop Tops as the base for the snowflake.  The square next to it shows the Blue Jeans Day square (there was a sentiment attached to this stamp which I cut off so I can use them separately if I want to):
