I have admired the Bloomin Bouquet kit (Item # 134542 for only $12.95) so much that I just had to order it for myself, but I thought how great would it be to use it for a Framed Art insert? So that is what I did and thought I would share it with you. I first watched the instructional video from SU here, which was very helpful. I found the flowers very easy to put together using my glue gun. Here is my insert:
I used coordinating card stock to create my squares and then just mounted my flowers on my squares with a glue gun. In the picture below, I punched out some leaves from the bird punch and added it to one of the flowers. Here are a few close-ups of some of the other squares:
I added a few different buttons that I had left over from sale-a-bration that matched perfectly to pull everything together. I also punched out a few butterflies and used them with some rhinestones on them. I also mixed two flower colors together to see how that would look like.
Here is a side view:
I really loved thinking outside the box with this kit, and it certainly made it easy to do – it’s a fabulous kit and PERFECT for this type of project – but hurry because it’s only while supplies last!
Hugs!

Gail, this is just wonderful. I bought 3 kits and was wondering what to do with them , now I know.
Gail:
After seeing your framed art demo in person I knew that I had to make one. I rec’d my kit and had my floral framed art done in an hour. I simply adore it and the comments keep on arriving! What a nice additional decoration to celebrate summer! Thanks! Sue
Hi Sue! I’m so glad it turned out well – what a GREAT kit! And I’m so glad it went together quickly – it’s a great kit! And, what a great mother-in-law, Ruth, you have who bought that for you cause you are so special!
