What do you get when you mix the Banner kit with the Thankful Tablescape kit? You get a Thanksgiving banner! I wanted to make a stepped up banner for Thanksgiving and was able to use pieces from the Thankful Tablescape kit to create a Thanksgiving banner. My letters are die cut from our beautiful champagne glitter paper:
I also discovered that the leaves included in the kit are die cuts using our Autumn Accents Bigz die and our Sweater Weather designer paper. Here are the individual banner pieces:
One thing I discovered is how designer paper changes when you SPONGE it! These beautiful leaves are just the designer paper from the kit, sponged in Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip around the edges, and a little touch of Old Olive for some color. It totally changed the look of the leaves as you can see here – and remember – this is designer paper!
I loved the much softer and realistic look it took on just by sponging it.
AND, after it was up and I was telling my daughter Jennifer about it, she asked if there was a turkey on it…. No… so I quickly did one in punch art and added the turkey to one of the pieces – it’s now perfect – thanks Jen!
This was really fun to put together using different elements to the banner pieces and thinking outside the box! If you haven’t made a banner yet, try one – and try thinking outside the box yourself – but be sure to share it with me!
Stampin’ Hugs!

It keeps on asking for a password – I have no idea how to create one. Thanks Jamie
Hi Jamie! I just fixed it! Thanks!
You are so creative. Love the banner and all the personal touches you added.
Hey Beth! You have to come to a class!
