Kinda Eclectic Card Share

I wanted to share a note card we made at this month’s class using the Kinda Eclectic stamp set with a tutorial on how to recreate this card yourself (design by SU).  I am LOVING this stamp set!

Here is how you can create this card too with a supply list at the end:

First, stamp in Crushed Curry your sun-burst image on one of our Note Cards but slightly stamp your image to the right, so some of the image will be off the card like this:

Then using the stamp with the little round circles, ink it up with Lost Lagoon – stamp off on some scrap paper – then stamp your image at the bottom of the card for a very soft and pastel look:

Next, using the leaf stamp, ink it up with some Wild Wabasi but stamp it first on scrap paper, then stamp it in the lower right hand section between the dots and the sun-burst image.  Repeat this for the top left corner of your card:

Adhere your strip of designer paper (Flower Pot Designer Series Paper) and stamp your sentiment in black Stazon:

Next, taking the Crushed Curry ink pad with  it closed, squeeze it together so that the ink from the pad will transfer to the top lid of the ink pad and open it.

Using your Aqua Painter with just a drop of water in it (too much will cause a blob of water on your card which will saturate to the other side which is what you do not want), touch the card in random, artistic places. Then stamp the little butterfly in Tangelo Twist on a piece of Whisper White card stock, punch it out using the Bitty Butterfly punch, and adhere:

I then removed a few of the gold circle sequins from the Gold Sequin Trim and adhered them with a glue dot to my card.

Here is the finished card – love it!

Oh, and as my downline Kim reminded me – don’t forget to stamp your envelope too!  (Thanks Kim!)

What a versatile stamp set this is – a beautiful “just because” card, a “thank-you” card, a “sympathy card” or a “birthday day” card – just using different sentiments will make this set very versatile.

I hope this helps you see how you can create a beautiful scene using this versatile stamp set.
