Christmas Stamp-A-Stack

I thought I would share what we did at my 4th Annual Christmas Stamp-A-Stack event that I hold the first weekend in October.  Everyone made 4 cards of 5 different designs for a total of 20 cards.  One of the sets I used was White Christmas, and since that is a set with so many possibilities, I thought I would make my sample card four different ways to give everyone an idea of how they could use it.  I thought I would just take a moment though and share with you my display board that I came up with.  I took the backing board that our glitter paper comes in, which is very sturdy, and adhered the back of a 5×7 picture frame to it to give me an easel display board that held 4 cards beautifully.  Here is what it looked like from the back:

I adhered a piece of designer paper to the front with a little bit of adhesive and then attached my cards to it:

Here are the other cards that they did – this one is from Nikki Spencer using the Festival of Trees that I loved with so many details:

The next card was using the set Beauty of the Season:

This was using Wondrous Wreath:

And then using inspiration from Marelle Taylor, I used the Ornamental Pines and made 4 different samples using my “homemade” display board:

Lastly, everyone was able to make as many tags as they wanted using the set Get Your Santa On:

This event is a potluck, so everyone brought a dish to pass, and I had Christmas music playing off my iPad from Pandora, so it was a very nice assortment of music.

Here is what it looked like BEFORE everyone got here.  I had 5 separate stations set up all throughout my house with seating for between 4 and 6 people at each spot:

Everyone had a fantastic time and I also had a door prize for everyone who attended.  I’ll leave you with a few pics of this fun day!
