How cute are these darling 3×3 cards showcasing our NEW IN COLORS?? The paper – ink – ribbon – and Blossom Accents are such fun and happy colors! Oh – and then there was the fun of using sneak peek products! Here is what I came up with:
I also used the stamp sets “You’ve Got This” and the Hostess Set “Best Thoughts” along with the new Triple Banner Punch. Here is how I created each card. I stamped off my flower image and stamped it on the white banner piece which measures just 1 mark shy of the 2″ mark so it fits in the punch easily x 3″:
For the Delightful Dijon – STAMP OFF TWO TIMES, THEN STAMP YOUR IMAGE and it gives you a beautiful soft yellow image.
Then stamp your saying over your flower full ink strength:
Next, flip it over and place adhesive to the back like this:
Then cut a small piece of the ribbon and lay it across so when you flip it over, it showcases that beautiful scalloped side of it:
Place four dimensionals – two at the top and two at the bottom and adhere that to the front of your 3×3 card. I wanted the ribbon to really show the scalloped edge, so I punched a contrasting little 1 inch banner piece which was about 1 inch long and slipped it underneath the large banner so the ribbon would be showcased.
I then cut a 3 inch piece of ribbon and tied a knot in it. When doing this, a tip is to make sure your ribbon is the same – the scalloped edge is the same on ether side of the knot before you pull that knot tight so the ribbon edges are the same on both sides of the knot and you don’t have one side with the straight edge and the other side of the knot with the scalloped edge.
In using this ribbon, although beautiful, I found that it does not hold very well with a glue dot and I would suggest using our Tombow glue to really make sure it doesn’t fall off.
Here is each individual card:
Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron:
Cucumber Crush and Watermelon Wonder:
Delightful Dijon (remember to stamp off 2 times, and then stamp your image) and Cucumber Crush:
Mint Macaron and Delightful Dijon:
Watermelon Wonder and Tip Top Taupe:
I hope you liked what I came up with to showcase our new in colors. You can play with them and mix them up to how you like the color combinations, but what fun, happy colors they are!
Happy Stamping!
