I thought I would share what we did last week using the February Paper Pumpkin kit so you could see some different ways to use this month’s kit. Here is the first card, made with the directions from the kit:
Here is the alternative card that I came up with for this card using the negative pieces left over – I created a chalkboard easel card – and every got to make one of these – and how adorable are those envelopes that came with this kit!
Next, is the second card which was made with the kit directions:
Here is my alternate card using just half of the orange flower, adding a butterfly and creating a flower using the build-a-bird punch for the flower stem and the cupcake punch for the base of the flower:
This next card is the FREE alternative card I offer when you come to my Paper Pumpkin class and are a subscriber of mine. I used the other half of the orange flower to create this:
The last card was made using the kit directions:
I needed a get well card for someone who is suffering from a bad cold, so I added a surprise inside this card – a little tissue box when you open it!
So here is my alternative card for this card, again using the negative pieces:
WOW – this kit made 9 cards… BUT if you used all the negative pieces and changed it up, you were able to get up to 15 cards that you could make up using the left over pieces. I love these kits and how creative you can still be using a kit – who knew??
If you are one of my Paper Pumpkin subscribers, you will be receiving a PDF with all of these samples, instructions on how to make the tissue box for the inside of the card with dimensions and instructions on how to use the negative pieces to make other cards along with all different alternative card samples using this kit.
If you liked these cards – why not give My Paper Pumpkin a try??? If you sign up for it by MARCH 10th, then you will be able to GET IN ON THE 3-YEAR SPECIAL MY PAPER PUMPKIN EDITION FOR MARCH! Just click HERE to subscribe! Please select me as your demonstrator (Gail Emmons, zip 14514).
